Documentary Screening
Welcome to our documentary screening program in Nepal! Join us in learning more about our animal friends!
Nepal's unique geography, with associated variations in the physiographic and climatic conditions, has resulted in rich biodiversity.

There are over 22,000 species reported from Nepal i.e., 1.3% of the global biodiversity. In richness of flowering plant species, the country holds 27th position in the world and 10th in Asia.

At the species level, the rapid change along the environmental gradient can result in a huge loss of such species. Biodiversity loss is a critical issue that needs to be addressed urgently.

Slaughtering and poaching activities are among the major causes of this problem. It is important to take action to prevent these activities and protect our planet's precious wildlife.

Hosting film screenings can be a powerful tool for grassroots advocacy. Not only do they bring people together for discussion, but they can also help grow your ranks, raise awareness, and create important personal connections.

Thus as an awareness initiative, the screening program was initiated.
