Story telling

Stories are what make a child, an adult, and everyone in between pay attention and be enthralled by the subjects of the story. It is one of the oldest methods of communication, through which we still have the fairy tales, the monster stories, the tales of good and bad, of joy and peace, of triumph and loss. To capture the essence of the nature around us and the relationship we have with every being and element, story writing sessions have been organized in schools.

Story writing workshop

One of the first sessions to sit and write some stories from our interactions with the animals, wild, and domestic, was organized in July of 2022.

The CYF: Life Vision Academy students were part of this session, and their stories were followed up later by Roots & Shoots Coordinator Namita Kandel.

Facilitator Shuvechhya Pradhan, a creative writer and travel writer, facilitated that session on the premises of the animal rights organization, Animal Nepal.
